I posted a few days ago about Rose Pharmacy- Surigao not allowing Senior Citizen discounts after 6PM. This is a clear violation of the Senior Citizens Law.
But before the city government, the Rose Pharmacy management and the DTI can act on it, our friends in the media, particularly Periodico Surigao, as always, already made the initial inquiries. Periodico Surigao went on and investigated the case, but expectedly, the Rose Pharmacy personnel of Surigao denied all allegations.
Thanks Periodico Surigao for the support. Let's continue to collaborate on vital issues in our province. As you might have known, Pidjanga Blog have had good collaborations with other media both nationally and locally e.g GMA News, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Mindanews, Butuan Star, etc.
Pidjanga and fellow Surigaonons, let's be vigilant on this. I'll be recommending mystery shoppers who will do Senior Citizen purchases and will document if Rose Pharmacy, or any pharmacy in Surigao, will deny the rights and privileges of our Senior Citizens.
