Pidjanga notes: I hope more Pidjanga poets, like Atty. Charlo Paredes and Dr. Roland Gatpolintan, will be encouraged to share your original Sinurigao or Minainit compositions to the rest of the world! The above composition expresses my continued advocacy to protect, preserve, and conserve our beloved Lake Mainit. And with it, I realized that, though it is called Lake Mainit, the responsibility lies on all communities surrounding it. In addition, such compositions, contributes to our cultural development by putting in print and on record actual usage of the beautiful words used uniquely or most frequently in our communities. I just missed the words lagaraw, weder, ismagol, wagner, etc that's why it's up there. Besides, it reminds us of the simple treasures of everyday life back home.
