Thanks Pidjanga readers who added new sitios...
The updated page is at: http://pidjanga.blogspot.com/2008/01/sitios-of-mainit.html
Questions:
1. Tupper says Sitio Perada is not in Matin-ao because it is in San Isidro because it comes before Tag-ayan. Nan, hain man kaw gikan? Kun gikan kay sa Magsaysay... sakto si Tupper. Pero kun gikan kaw Matin-ao? Hain man iton Perada?
2. Sitio Rizal was mentioned twice - one in Matin-ao and the other one in Cantugas. Do they have both Rizal as sitios (posible man)? or Rizal is in the border and both barangays are confused where to assign Rizal?
3. Crossing may not be a sitio, nevertheless, I included it in Matin-ao. Nagduda na sab gani ako kun sakto an Culo sanan Panayakpan sa Quezon. Kay kun amohon, I should also include Sanghan for Magsaysay, even Iyan Village and PatiƱo Village. I am quite surprised about Kakongkingan in Cantugas. I know that that Mamanwas (or Kongking) do converge in Sitio Gasipan (which in fact is part already of the Municipality of Sison).

Pidjanga
(Glossogobius giuris) is a freshwater fish native to Mainit Lake. It is called “biya” in Tagalog and “white goby or tank goby” in English. The term “pidjanga” is also sometimes fondly used to refer to the Mainitnons, the people of the Municipality of Mainit, a town in Southern Philippines. This blog hopes to capture potentials of Migrants Pidjangas for the Development of our Town by attempting to document development issues, folk stories, and current concerns, about the Pidjanga — both the fish and the people.
