Pidjanga

(Glossogobius giuris) is a freshwater fish native to Mainit Lake. It is called “biya” in Tagalog and “white goby or tank goby” in English. The term “pidjanga” is also sometimes fondly used to refer to the Mainitnons, the people of the Municipality of Mainit, a town in Southern Philippines. This blog hopes to capture potentials of Migrants Pidjangas for the Development of our Town by attempting to document development issues, folk stories, and current concerns, about the Pidjanga — both the fish and the people.

Sabaw sa Dragon

Pidjangas fondly call brewed (boiled) coffee as "sabaw sa dragon" (soup of a dragon) referring to the Red Dragon coffee brand which is popular (and affordable!) in Mindanao.

"Sabaw sa dragon" is usually served during wakes or election campaign gatherings. During these times, nescafe and other branded instant coffee are considered a luxury! (sa ako paminaw hehehe!)

i think you should include the rate of crime and deliquency in that place.

In the aftermath of that your blog would not only appear as a feature site but an interaction of discrepancy in that area. I've heard that serious deliquencies are happening there but the government unfortunately still has no action.

Its just a concern from someone who cares to the security of Mainitnons.

Im so sorry for keeping myself anonymous. Its a matter of choice.
We are in a democratic country unless by forcing a person would make the system of gov't tyrannical.Isnt it?

I can't see your point. It seems that you are telling me to go to malacanang and speak for a local problem.I feel this is so eccentric.
And in fact this is just a comment thats why I am just telling my apprehensions.

If you think that my my comment is irrelevant. Then you can ignore it and not by telling harsh implication.
